The Walking Tours start at 10 a.m. and end around 11:30 a.m. Each tour provides an introduction of Petersburg and information on the historic architecture and notable Petersburg residents in that area. Tours are $5 per person and free to participants under the age of 18. Tours begin and end at nearby parking spots.
Tour Dates and Times:
April 3, 2021 – Old Towne Walking Tour begins/ends at 20 West Bank Street, the large District 19 building parking lot.
April 10, 2021 – High Street Walking Tour begins/ends at 124 West Bank Street.
April 17, 2021 – Grove Avenue Walking Tour begins/ends at the vacant lot next to the Peter Jones Trading Station and across the street from 214 Grove Ave.
April 24, 2021 – Poplar Lawn Historic District Walking Tour begins/ends in the IGA grocery store parking lot that is across the street from 24 S. Adams Street.
