Saturday, September 11, 2010: Members Only Bus Trip to Montpelier. One of the tangible benefits of membership is a day trip to a historic site at no charge for our members. This fall, we are going to James Madison’s Montpelier. HPF pays for the bus, admission fees and snacks to enjoy along the ride. Lunch is usually on your own with free time to shop or tour. Thursday, October 7, 2010: The History of the Petersburg Public Library. Library Director, Wayne Crocker will lead the presentation and will be assisted by other prominent citizens in telling the past, present and future of this valuable community asset. Held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, located at 110 North Union Street at 6:30 p.m. No charge.
Friday, October 29, 2010: Halloween Party! 8 p.m – midnight at the Union Train Station. $35 per person. Casual attire or Costumes.
Sunday, December 12, 2010: Christmas Homes Tour. Tour historic homes in the Old Towne Historic District. 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tickets: $20 per person.
