I was looking through the historic properties website across the country . I looked at all the houses and thought, this house was the most interesting. I had a good feeling about this house. So I selected the link and ended up at this site. Of all the houses on the list, I had to select a Bolling house. My ggggrandmother is Hannah Bolling, daughter of Benjamin Bolling who was raised by Col Robert Bolling. So its quite remarkable that I selected a Bolling House, (even though my settler families were from the state of Virginia, Jamestown). Its amazing how that happens.
